News from the Olive Bar

Italian associations are often made as a marketing trick to sell more olive oil. While Italy produces a significant amount of olive oil, they export very little. Spain is by far the world's largest producer and exporter of extra virgin olive oil.

Don't fall in the trap of buying something just because it was said to be made in a certain country. Where the olive oil is produced is far less important than when, what, and how it is produced.

Beginners Painting Art Class at the Olive Bar - Sept 12, 2007 (6:30pm)

Sept 12th 2007 from 6:30 - 9:30p.m.

This is a beginners class and shows that anyone can paint when shown how.

It will be held at the olive bar, and those interested can call Chrystie DeSoto at The Olive Bar (408)370-1901 or Rhonda Mills at (831)684-0568

The cost is $40.00 and includes most materials, however you will have to bring a thin liner brush, 1/2 angle brush, medium sized round as well as a flat brush. Also some paper towels and
some small containers for water. All the other supplies will be furnished.

Rhonda is the artist from So. Africa that designed and painted our mural and lots of dishes and plates as well as some canvas items that have sold extremely well.
